TWIN COUNTY WRESTLING:
The entire program participates as a recreation team in the Twin County Junior Wrestling League.
The best part of the wrestling season is watching our wrestlers progress throughout the year. We promise you the meets on Saturday will be filled with a lot of amazing memories and life lessons.
TRI-COUNTY WRESTLING:
Tri-County wrestling is our more advanced “Varsity” wrestling team. Only our advanced wrestlers will be a part of this team
The entire program participates as a recreation team in the Twin County Junior Wrestling League.
- Our wrestling meets will be Saturdays in January and February. We will have some home meets - but others will be away in towns like Ramsey, Oakland, or West Milford.
- Wrestlers will be matched up by 1) Weight, 2) Age, 3) Experience and Skillset.
- For example, an 8-year-old wrestler will only wrestle another wrestler between the ages of 7-9 years old, within 5% their body weight, with similar experience and comparable skill set.
- Novice Wrestlers (1st and 2nd-year wrestlers) will only wrestle other novice wrestlers.
- Our wrestlers will only get better wrestling fair and balanced matches; it does neither wrestler any good wrestling outside these parameters. Parents, please know we take our wrestling match ups very seriously.

- Before a wrestler is asked to be part of the Tri-County team, one of our coaches will meet with the parents to discuss this commitment. The decision is made in conjunction with the coaches, parents, and most importantly the wrestler.
- We will also have a mandatory Friday practice from 6:00 - 8:00PM at Olympic Wrestling Club in Wyckoff.
